SATURDAY — ARRIVE SAN JOSE BY 2PM — PRIVATE BUS LEAVES BY 4PM TO SAN ISIDRO DEL GENERAL, PEREZ ZELEDON
WELCOME DINNER WITH YOUR HOST JANE GREGSON — LA CASCADA — 8PM (optional, if you're dead on your feet)
Sunday DAY 1
7AM * HOTEL DIAMANTE - Breakfast with local business owners & friends (Lawyer, Engineer, Hardware store owner, Farmer, Woodworker, Heavy Equipment Operator, Nursery Owner)
* Drive to local neighborhoods (Ticos and Expats) in La Alfombra and San Cristobal in the hills 30 minutes from town.
* See several local Tico houses in Platanillo, available for rent or sale.
NOON - LUNCH - BARU RESTAURANT
* Visit the mountains and Valleys of the Baru River area - San Juan de Dios, Cacao, Tres Piedres
* Attend local Soccer games (as scheduled)
* Check out local "pulperias" (general stores), farms and wood working shops.
DINNER: Lunch Choza de Alejo's Mexican Restaurant (can check in - this is where we will be staying)
Monday DAY 2
7AM * Meet for coffee then on the bus to go to Rancho Tranquilo for BREAKFAST
| * Breakfast at Linda Gray's Ranch Tranquilo, a truly tranquil farm where Linda has developed large parcel properties for sale with beautiful views of the ocean and valley. |
*Drive to Tierra de Verano, our 7 home development, to see recently built houses for a reference of what you can do for yourselves.
NOON - LUNCH - La Cascada
AFTER LUNCH
* Tour the city of San Isidro in action - The Cathedral, Grocery Stores, Pharmacies, DHL, Hardware Stores, Stationary Stores, Insurance, Law Offices, and THE MALL!
* Meet Don Lulu (local Tico gentleman who has run a horseback riding waterfall tour for many years) and see the Valley of the Horses.
* Check into Hotel Rio Mar on the Baru River in Dominical and get ready for Dinner

Tuesday Day 3
7AM Coffee at Rio Mar then to Poolside Breakfast
| Poolside Breadfast in Dominicalito, at Sibu Farm, with Hostess Sibbald Doan, world traveled, Pennsylvania native, and enjoy the relaxing views of the Pacific Ocean, lovely ocean breezes and good company. Sibbald will be happy to tell you what it's really like to live here! |
* Drive down to the ocean front highway, the "Costenara" and visit world famous Hacienda Baru - a long time nature reserve close to Dominical
* Visit the Dominical Realty development - Kiana Condominiums on the
beach.
NOON * Lunch at La Parcela Restaurant on Punta Dominical
AFTER LUNCH
* Visit Beaches galore - Playa Tortuga, Playa Ventanas, Playa Pinuela, and Playa Hermosa.

* Stop in to review the gorgeous lots at Jardines del Morele in Uvita
* Check into The Lookout at Turtle Beach and get ready for dinner
DINNER at Exotica - high end European Cuising

Wednesday DAY 4
* Breakfast at The Lookout on Turtle Beach, with host Kate Hayes
* Drive down to Palmar Sur, past the new Osa Hospital, over Rio Terraba (largest river in Costa Rica) to the local airport {optional flight back to San Jose for those who have early flights, $80.00)
NOON * Tipica Lunch at Restaurante Ballena located at Don Israel's - typical Costanera Mall
AFTER LUNCH
* Visit Playa Ballena National Park
* Check out Ocean view opportunities along the beach
4PM TOUR BUS DEPARTS FOR SAN JOSE (approx. 4 hours)
Optional Dinner at La Cascada, San Isidro and extended stays at hotel of your choice (not included, but happy to help book it for you) or we can arrange your transportation elsewhere in the country as needed.
End of 4 day tour
Southern Tour cost 4 days, 4 nights – Saturday afternoon until Wednesday evening (optional Air departure from Palmar Sur Wednesday morning $80 extra)
